Welcome to my gallery!
You can find handmade, freeform wire wrapped jewelry here. And you can find my other artwork here also.
My art is inspired by fantasy and Art Nouveau. I love using organical elements to add romantic accents to my works.
It was about twenty years ago when I started to make jewelry of gemstones and wire.
Me and my friend has started to collect stones whenever we had the chance, and sold the pendants and earrings we made to our classmate. First steps to make a business.
Then we graduated and went to other schools... This brought a lengthy pause in the field of jewelry-making.
When my son was born I tried to find a creative hobby just to keep my mind alive. I always loved steampunk and fantasy art so I started to make steampunk jewelry. In the beginning I created them using watchparts, nice findings...and some wire.
As time went on, more and more wire was used with less and less steampunk elements. Finally, I found myself making wire wrapped jewelry.
I've tried many techniques, for example crocheting then weaving. later I tried soldering and basic metal-smithing techniques.
I keep trying to learn new as many new techniques as possible to improve to make more beautiful and refined jewelry.
